Dear Doctor Samimi:
I am writing to express my appreciation for the wonderful experience had with you and your office. Approximately 15 years ago I had bladder surgery. This time, when incontinence became unbearable, I went back to the same doctors, they told me that I would need a second bladder operation... Desperate for answers, I went to your office and was impressed with your professional and the caring relationship you have with your patients. I decided to have you perform the surgery, and I couldn't be more pleased... After surgery, you and your office were extremely attentive. I received a call from you or your staff almost every day as to my progress. I am as good as new and have no incontinence at all. I feel wonderful, thanks to you...
Sincerely,
I.A.

Dear Dr. Samimi:
It has been almost two months since the "Closed Burch Procedure", and now I can sneeze, laugh, cough, and move without the worry of losing urine... God Bless you, Dr. Samimi for such an effective and easy procedure. I went home the same day of the operation and I was back to work in three weeks... Sincerely,
G.V.K.
"The first thing I would like to say is thank you for making my life whole once again!" "Surgery was easy. I walked three hours afterwards. I requested no shots after and brought my own Tylenol extended. It was great! I required nothing more in my recovery. I had one hitch when it came time to remove the catheter. I was afraid. I need not have been. It went great."

I did my exercises like I was told and daily. I am recovering nicely. I had no scarring at all."

"Today I am an active 63 year old, glad that I made the decision, and happier that I picked the right doctor!"

"I want to close with a thank you to Dr. Samimi. You are a miracle!"
Sincerely,
Barbara H.

"Yes, I had surgery before. Was supposed to correct it. I was worse if anything."
"The you were recommended by our family doctor and I got my life back! Dr. Samimi, you are the greatest!"
"I would say to anyone - Don't Wait! Get it done! Enjoy life the same way I did! - They won't be sorry!!"
Sincerely,
Margaret S.

Freedom from Female Incontinence It’s been called the “last of the closet issues.” Urinary incontinence, the inability to control urine flow, is a widespread and devastating problem among women. Yet many suffer in silence. Only half of those affected discuss their condition with their physician. Some women are too embarrassed, while others assume this is a natural part of aging and that nothing can be done.

Dary Samimi, M.D., a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, has devoted much of his practice during the past decade to researching and treating urinary incontinence. “Women should not have to suffer with this problem. With proper diagnosis, many women can be treated through a number of medical and surgical interventions,” he says.

“I encourage patients to first try non-surgical approaches,” says Dr. Samimi. “Strategies may include ‘training’ the bladder to delay voiding, strengthening pelvic muscles or drug therapy. Some dietary items, such as caffeinated beverages, may need to be eliminated. A thorough evaluation is needed to determine the cause and type of incontinence.”

Stress incontinence is one of the more common forms of this disorder. It occurs when pelvic muscles have been damaged, causing the bladder to leak during exercise, coughing, sneezing, laughing, or any body movement putting pressure on the bladder.
Dr. Samimi has helped develop an advanced outpatient procedure, the Modified Burch Sling Procedure, which treats women with stress urinary incontinence. In an abstract written by Dr. Samimi to educate physicians about this surgical technique, many documented cases showed excellent results with no major complications.

There are numerous factors that can cause incontinence. Regardless of the reason, remedies are available. If you suffer from incontinence, seek relief.
